Job summary

Les Schwab is hiring a Brake & Alignment Technician in Sterling, CO to install and service brake, suspension, and alignment components. You will test drive vehicles, rebalance wheels, and calibrate TPMS while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 75 lb, with a fast-paced environment and teamwork. Full-time employment with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install or service brake, suspension, alignment, drive train and steering components; test and install batteries; dismount/mount tires and rebalance wheels; replace, rebuild or recalibrate TPMS components; operate shop equipment and hand tools.
• Assist other technicians and perform offsite or emergency road services as needed; test drive vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to qualified teammates when appropriate.

Job Description

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services. Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Qualifications
