Job summary

Les Schwab in Hanford, CA is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components with a strong emphasis on customer service and adherence to company policies. You will perform battery tests, tire work, TPMS calibration, and drive vehicle test runs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 75 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components
• Testing and installing batteries
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools
• Assisting other employees
• Test driving vehicles
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services
• Provides excellent customer service
• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary

Experience:

Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Qualifications:

Pay and Benefits:

$16.50 - $26.45 For full time positions after eligibility criteria are met, benefits include:
