Job summary

Les Schwab is hiring a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, suspension, and alignment components in our Great Falls, MT shop. You will perform testing, battery work, tire mounting and TPMS calibration while maintaining high safety and customer service standards.

On-the-job training is provided. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required to handle daily duties in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service in a fast-paced shop.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and long periods of standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service brake, suspension, steering components.
• Test and install vehicle batteries.
• Dismount/mount tires and rebalance wheels; recalibrate TPMS.
• Use shop equipment and hand tools to complete tasks.
• Assist other team members and participate in road service calls.
• Test drive vehicles to confirm repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer to qualified staff as needed.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components
• Testing and installing batteries
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools
• Assisting other employees
• Test driving vehicles
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services
• Provides excellent customer service
• Refs customers to other qualified employees as N/A

Qualifications

Pay and Benefits

$14.85 - $24.50 For full time positions after eligibility criteria are met, benefits include:
