Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Center is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician in California. You will install and service brake systems, suspensions, aligns, and TPMS components, test drive vehicles, and provide outstanding customer service.

A valid driver’s license is required, and the role includes lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.50–$26.45 with benefits such as medical/dental/vision, retirement, paid time off, and more.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing brake, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
