Job summary

Les Schwab in Richfield, UT is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components and to provide excellent customer service.

You will work with hydraulic and electric braking systems, test batteries, mount tires, rebalance wheels, and perform offsite and emergency road services as needed. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 75 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, up to 75 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing brake, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles for offsite/emergency road services.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components
• testing and installing batteries
• dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components
• using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools
• assisting other employees
• test driving vehicles
• and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services
• Provides excellent customer service
• refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary

Experience:

Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the-job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license

Pay and Benefits:

$14.85 - $24.50 For full time positions after eligibility criteria are met, benefits include:
