Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment and suspension components. This role requires operating tools, testing systems, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced shop environment.

You will install hydraulic/electric brake parts, handle tire mounting/balancing, manage TPMS recalibration, and assist other technicians on-site. A valid driver's license and physical stamina are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license; excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Test driving vehicles and operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Providing excellent customer service and referring customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.; Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience:
