Job summary

Les Schwab Brake & Alignment Technician position in a Idaho shop requires servicing and installing brake, alignment, and suspension components with a focus on customer satisfaction. • Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts

• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and recalibrate TPMS components
• Use equipment and hand tools
• Assist other employees
• Test drive vehicles
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to other qualified colleagues when needed

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components


• Testing and installing batteries


• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components


• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools


• Assisting other employees


• Test driving vehicles


• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.


• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
