Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Independence, Oregon is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake, alignment, and suspension systems, install parts, test drive vehicles, and assist customers.

This full-time role requires a valid driver's license, strong customer service, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds; wage ranges from $14.85 to $24.50 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Test drive vehicles and operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and replace/calibrate TPMS components.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
