Job summary

Valid8 Financial, Inc. is seeking an experienced Brake & Alignment Technician to join our automotive service team in Whittier, CA.

The role focuses on wheel alignments, brake service, and suspension work on passenger and light/medium duty vehicles, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to test-drive vehicles to verify repairs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional wheel alignment, brake, and suspension experience.
• English language fluency for verbal and written communication.
• Experience with small to light/medium duty vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of braking, suspension, steering, and alignment systems.
• Ability to test-drive vehicles and evaluate repairs.
• Comfort with using alignment and diagnostic equipment.
• Capable of working independently and in a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must provide and maintain own general hand tools (company supplies specialty tools).

Responsibilities

• Perform wheel alignments on passenger and light/medium duty vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair brake systems, including installation and servicing components.
• Install, inspect, service, and repair suspension components.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify mechanical, brake, suspension, and alignment concerns.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repairs and operation.
• Operate alignment and diagnostic equipment properly.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and safety procedures.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.
• Complete work accurately and efficiently while upholding high-quality standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
