Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, suspension, and alignment components. You will test drive vehicles, assist with offsite road services, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities include installing brake systems, balancing wheels, testing TPMS, and using hand tools. A valid driver's license and strong safety awareness are required; physical work includes lifting and bending.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing/rebuilding/calibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
