Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components while delivering exceptional customer service. The role includes testing batteries, tire mounting/dismounting, TPMS calibration, and driving service vehicles for offsite work.

Qualifications include a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds with frequent bending and standing. On-the-job training is provided for this full-time position.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drivetrain, and power steering components.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, replace/rebuild/calibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assist other employees; test drive vehicles; operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road service.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to other qualified employees as needed.
