Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components with a focus on customer service. Duties include testing, drive testing, tire work, and TPMS calibration, performed on-site with company vehicles for offsite needs.

The role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, with frequent bending and walking; a fast-paced environment is typical and on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and excellent customer service skills.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drivetrain and power steering components.
• Test and install batteries; dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies and rebalance wheels.
• Replace, rebuild and recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and hand tools; assist other employees; test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
