Les Schwab Tire Centers in Moscow, Idaho seeks a Brake & Alignment Technician to install and service brake systems, suspensions, alignments, and TPMS components. You will work with wheels and tires, run tests, and provide high-level customer service in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities include vehicle testing, offsite service as needed, and collaboration with teammates to ensure safety and quality. A valid driver's license and strong customer interactions are required.

• Ability to perform brake, alignment and suspension work with safety.
• Proficiency with basic shop tools and tire/wheel procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems and suspension components.
• Dismount/mount tires, rebalance wheels, and address TPMS components.
• Test drive vehicles and perform offsite/roadside service as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer to qualified staff when appropriate.

Job Description:Brake & Alignment TechnicianBrake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.Primary Responsibilities:Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.; Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.Experience:Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.Qualifications:Valid driver's license; excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment; frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.Pay and Benefits:$14.85 - $24.50For full time positions after eligibility criteria are met, benefits include:Quarterly BonusMedical, dental, vision, and life insuranceCompany-funded retirement planPaid time offShort- and long-term disabilityEmployee discountTuition AssistanceBenefits are subject to change at any time and governed by plan documents and Company policy.
