Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician in California. You will install and service brake, alignment, suspension, and drivetrain components, and rebalance tires while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license and excellent customer service.
Ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drivetrain, and power steering components.
Test drive vehicles and operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road service.
Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and service TPMS components.

Job Description

Brake & Alignment Technician Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.; Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
