Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Hollister, CA is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components and to provide excellent customer service. You will work with brake systems, tires, TPMS, and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing brake, suspension, alignment, drive train and power steering components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dis mounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and TPMS work.
• Using equipment and hand tools to complete service tasks.
• Assisting other employees and test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road service.

Job description

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components;
• testing and installing batteries;
• dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components;
• using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools;
• assisting other employees;
• test driving vehicles;
• and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.; Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience

Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Qualifications

Pay and Benefits

$16.50 - $28.00 For full time positions after eligibility criteria are met, benefits include:
