Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in the United States is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician responsible for servicing brake, alignment and suspension components, performing installations, and ensuring safe road handling. You will work with a team to deliver high quality vehicle repairs following company policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities include installing brake systems, testing components, mounting tires, balancing wheels, and calibrating TPMS.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components;
• testing and installing batteries;
• dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components;
• using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools;
• assisting other employees;
• test driving vehicles;
• and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.; Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience
