Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to install and service brake systems, alignments, and suspension components, while delivering excellent customer service. You will also test batteries, balance tires, and calibrate TPMS as needed.

Role requires a valid driver's license, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds during shifts. Training is provided for on-the-job progression.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and recalibrate TPMS components.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components;
• testing and installing batteries;
• dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components;
• using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools;
• assisting other employees;
• test driving vehicles;
• and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.; Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience

Pay and Benefits

$16.50 - $28.00 For full time positions after eligibility criteria are met, benefits include:
