Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Molalla, Oregon is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components while delivering outstanding customer service. You will test drive vehicles, operate service vans for offsite work, and support the team with tools and equipment usage.

The role includes on-the-job training, a strong benefits package, and opportunities for growth. A valid driver's license and the ability to handle physical tasks are required.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, occasionally up to 75 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
Testing and installing batteries.
Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing TPMS components.

Job Description:

Brake & Alignment Technician Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components;
testing and installing batteries;
dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components;
using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools;
assisting other employees;
test driving vehicles;
and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.;
Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Pay and Benefits:
