Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seekingBrake & Alignment Technicians to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, while delivering outstanding customer service. The role includes tire mounting, TPMS calibration, batteries, and offsite road services.

Candidates should have a valid driver's license and be comfortable with a fast-paced environment, frequent lifting, and bending. On-the-job training is provided by Les Schwab across multiple western states.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service in a rapid pace environment.
• Physically capable of frequent lifting up to 75 pounds and continuous movement.
• Willingness to assist other employees and work outside standard hours if needed.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drivetrain and power steering parts.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use shop equipment and hand tools to complete tasks.
• Assist other employees and perform test drives.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road service.

Job Description:

Brake & Alignment Technician Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components;
• testing and installing batteries;
• dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components;
• using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools;
• assisting other employees;
• test driving vehicles;
• and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.;
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience:

Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license;
• excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment;
• frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds;
• frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Pay and Benefits:
