Job summary

Les Schwab is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brakes, alignments, and suspension components, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies. You will use tools, test drive vehicles, and assist with offsite services as needed.

The role emphasizes a strong customer-service approach, physical activity such as lifting and bending, and teamwork within a fast-paced shop environment. Training is provided on the job.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license; excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies and rebalancing wheels.
• Replacing, rebuilding or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and hand tools; assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles and operating service vehicles for offsite or emergency road services; providing excellent customer service.
