Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Washington is seeking Brake & Alignment Technicians to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, and to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced shop. You will install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, drive train parts, rotate tires, rebalance wheels, test drive vehicles, and support offsite work.

Pay ranges from $14.85 to $24.50 per hour, with benefits after eligibility including medical, dental, vision, life

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, occasional up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies; rebalancing wheels; recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Providing excellent customer service; referring customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
