Job summary

Les Schwab in Kent, WA is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include a valid driver’s license, strong customer service skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds with related physical requirements. On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 75 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies; rebalancing wheels; replacing, rebuilding and recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and various hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Providing excellent customer service; referring customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
