Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to perform brake, alignment, and suspension service on a wide range of vehicles. You will install and service components, test drives, and ensure quality workmanship while delivering strong customer service.

The role includes manual handling, extensive tools use, and potential offsite service. A driver’s license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service brake, alignment, suspension, drive train, and power steering parts.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and hand tools needed for repairs.
• Assist other employees and test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road service.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to qualified staff when needed.
