Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Monument, CO is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, and to deliver outstanding customer service.

You will install or service hydraulic and electric brake systems, test batteries, handle tire mounting, TPMS calibration, and drive to offsite road service calls. This is a full-time role with eligibility-based benefits included.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds; occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and replace/rebuild/calibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and various hand tools.
• Assist other employees.
• Test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service; refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Job Description:

Brake & Alignment Technician Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components;
• testing and installing batteries;
• dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components;
• using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools;
• assisting other employees;
• test driving vehicles;
• and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.;
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience:

Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Pay and Benefits:
