Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is hiring a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, suspension, and related components. You will test batteries, handle tire mounting/dismounting, rebalancing, and TPMS recalibration, using the appropriate tools and equipment, while delivering outstanding customer service.

This full-time role offers growth through on-the-job training and opportunities to work on offsite road services, with competitive pay and benefits where available.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train and power steering parts.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tires and wheels, rebalance wheels and recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use service equipment and common hand tools.
• Assist other employees and test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers when needed.
