Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include handling tires, TPMS calibration, and offsite road service as needed.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly (up to 75 lbs occasionally), and the stamina to work in a fast-paced environment. On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies; rebalancing wheels; replace, rebuild and/or recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assist other employees; test drive vehicles; operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service; refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
