Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brakes, alignments, and suspension systems, while delivering top-tier customer care. You will dismount/mount tires, test drive vehicles, and support team members in a fast-paced environment.

The role includes offsite services and a focus on safety and quality workmanship. Applicants should have a valid driver's license and be comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (required).
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees
• Test driving vehicles
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services
• Provides excellent customer service
• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary
