Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Beaverton, Oregon, is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components while delivering excellent customer service. The role includes testing, tire work, TPMS calibration, and occasional offsite road service.

This position requires a valid driver’s license, comfort with a fast-paced environment, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Les Schwab offers on-the-job training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Use equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service; refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Brake & Alignment Technician Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components;
• testing and installing batteries;
• dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components;
• using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools;
• assisting other employees;
• test driving vehicles;
• and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.;
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Pay and Benefits:
