Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is hiring a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components. You will work with customers to explain repairs and ensure quality workmanship.

The role includes tire mounting, wheel balancing, TPMS calibration, and test driving vehicles, with on-the-job training provided. We offer a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits; applicants should have a valid driver's license and be able to work in a fast-paced shop

Qualifications

Valid driver's license.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
Test and install batteries.
Dismount/mount tires and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and recalibrate TPMS components.
Use equipment and misc. hand tools.
Assist other employees; test drive vehicles.
Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to qualified staff.

Job Description:

Brake & Alignment Technician Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components;
testing and installing batteries;
dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components;
using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools;
assisting other employees;
test driving vehicles;
and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.;
Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience:

Pay and Benefits:
