Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician in Oregon. You will service brake systems, alignments, suspensions, and related components, while testing batteries and handling TPMS recalibrations.

The role emphasizes strong customer service and teamwork, with on-the-job training provided. Responsibilities include tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing, and occasional offsite road service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drivetrain and power steering components.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, replace/rebuild/calibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and hand tools to complete tasks.
• Assist other employees and test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road service.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Job Description:

Brake & Alignment Technician Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components;
• testing and installing batteries;
• dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components;
• using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools;
• assisting other employees;
• test driving vehicles;
• and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.;
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience:

Pay and Benefits:
