Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Provo, UT is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake systems, perform wheel alignments, and handle suspension components. You will apply diagnostic equipment, mount and balance tires, and assist customers with informed recommendations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
