Job summary

Les Schwab is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician for on-site work in Washington. You will service brakes, suspension, and alignment components, install batteries, balance tires, and calibrate TPMS while delivering excellent customer service and following company policies.

Roles include offsite road service support and test driving. Requires a valid driver's license, the ability to handle a fast pace, and physical stamina to lift up to 75 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, occasional up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Providing excellent customer service; referring customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
