Job summary

The Allen Institute in Seattle, WA seeks a Scientific Project and Alliance Manager – Brain Health to support the Brain Health accelerator. You will work with scientific co-leads to ensure delivery of project milestones and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• PhD in biological sciences, with neuroscience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of project management experience in a scientific or technical environment.
• Proficient in project management and collaboration tools; budget/fiscal management experience.

Responsibilities

• In partnership with scientific co-leads, serve as the Project Manager to ensure successful delivery of project milestones.
• Support cross-functional teams throughout planning and execution lifecycles.
• Plan and organize internal and external project meetings with clear agendas and follow-ups.
• Create, maintain, and disseminate project deliverables and timelines using best practices.
• Contribute to fiscal management including budget planning and expenditure monitoring.
• Facilitate preparation for internal and external project reviews.
• Support preparation of competitive external funding applications and grants management.
