Job summary

Parker Hannifin in Mansfield, TX is seeking an associate to operate NEB, OMA and TMW braiders, ensuring product quality and proper tooling use. You will set up equipment, log materials, monitor gauges, and maintain a clean, safe work area in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include performing tooling changes, recording measurements, and acting on quality signals while adhering to Lean/5S practices and corporate safety standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: Production work preferred but not required.
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge and use of hand tools.
• Sound decision making skills.
• Good math, reading, writing skills.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Strong trouble shooting skills.
• Be able to exercise continuous mental, visual, and audio attention.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Pull tooling and materials according to manufacturing specifications for applicable machine(s).
• Inspect tooling before using and track material used in WW3 system and Braider Logs.
• Set up machines according to specifications and mark defects with tape color.
• Measure and record OD and pitch on Hose Process Chart (SPC).
• Run braided hose through wash tank and stage for inspection.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area and follow 5s practices.
• Follow safety regulations and quality guidelines.
