Job summary

Responsibilities include following standard work instructions, coordinating several machines, communicating with the Material Handler for supplies, and troubleshooting minor issues to prevent downtime. Production experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Production experience preferred but not required.
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills required.
• Basic knowledge and use of hand tools requested.
• Sound decision making and math, reading, and writing skills beneficial.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and mental/visual acuity for production quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate reinforcement machines (Braid Machines) per standard work instructions.
• Organize, coordinate, and monitor multiple machines to ensure quality output.
• Prioritize duties based on guidance from Work Leader or braid set-up sheet.
• Communicate with Material Handler when supplies are needed.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot minor problems; report major issues to Maintenance.
• Monitor production flow and align with schedule (Made to Order/ cards) for current and upcoming runs.
