Job summary

Brethren Care Village is seeking a Bradford Houses Homemaker to assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and mobility, while supporting dementia care needs. The role also involves meal service, light housekeeping, and transportation assistance, all within a Christian-based senior living community.

Qualifications

• Training in geriatrics (nursing, social work, rehabilitation or therapeutic recreation) or sufficient related prior work experience preferred.

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and dining)
• Provide compassionate care and support for individuals with dementia
• Prepare and serve meals following food safety guidelines
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintain a clean home environment
• Support residents with transportation, errands, and daily routines
• Communicate resident needs and changes with the care team
• Follow safety procedures and assist with basic care tasks under supervision

Bradford Houses Homemaker

Pay: $15/hr to $16.80/hr (Based on experience) PL US shift differentials: +$.75/hr evenings, +$.50/hr nights, +$1/hr weekends

Excellent Staffing Ratio: 1:5

What You'll Do as a Bradford Houses Homemaker:
