We are currently seeking a BPO Customer Care Associate to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee (US-TN), United States (US).

This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally required benefits.

Pay for this role is $15.50/hr.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 6 months experience in an office environment
  • 6 months experience using a computer with Microsoft Windows PC applications
  • 6 months of work-from-home environment experience
  • High school diploma or GED (Preferences)
Responsibilities:
  • Handling calls related to life insurance and annuity policies, including inquiries about payments, policy information, or claims, especially with prior insurance industry experience.
  • Designated quiet area to complete calls while working from home.
  • Providing front-line phone customer service to policyholders, beneficiaries, agents, and internal customers.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and striving to meet service standards.
  • Handling between 75 to 100 calls daily.
  • Communicating effectively and professionally with internal and external customers to resolve questions and issues.
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of the insurance industry, products, services, and processes.
  • Collaborating with management or team members to address service issues proactively.
  • 6 months of experience in a role requiring attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability.
  • 6 months of experience in a role requiring effective oral and written communication in a professional setting.

Additional requirements include having a working device (such as a cell phone or tablet) for 2-Factor Authentication, successfully completing training classes, passing a drug screen, and background checks including education and employment verification.

The required schedule is Monday-Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm (Central Time), with Saturday mornings (rotating) from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm (Central Time).
