The Boeing Company in North Charleston, SC is seeking BPET Assembly Electrical Mechanics for a variable-shift role tied to the 787 program. You will identify work locations on airplanes, interpret intricate drawings, and ensure compliant, defect-free work in a production environment.

Ideal candidates are BPET-certified students or recent graduates with hands-on experience reading drawings, wiring design, and working with electrical components, hand tools, and safety protocols.

Qualifikationen

• Be a student or recent graduate of a Boeing Pre-Employment Training course that is certified for the BPET Assembly Electrical Mechanic role.
• Physical demands including flexion/extension, kneeling, reaching, standing and walking.
• Experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications.
• Experience reading blueprints, drawings, or specifications in English.
• Experience with wiring design drawings including system interconnects and wiring installation.

Aufgaben

• Must complete the New Hire Training Cycle Flow to obtain and maintain all required certifications.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards and comply with FAA and QMS requirements.
• Ensure work conforms to engineering drawings and specifications with First Pass Quality and zero FOD.
• Read and interpret technical work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
• Carry and lift up to 35 pounds and work around energized electrical sources.
• Route of wire harness to supports per Boeing specifications for the 787 program.
• Build connectors, splice wires, crimp, and terminate wires.
