Job summary

CHS, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Cenex Zip Trip location in Bozeman, MT. You’ll help manage store operations, lead a team, and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time role requires 3+ years in retail, strong communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. The position includes a $1,000 retention bonus, overtime pay, and clear opportunities for growth within CHS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Retail and/or Retail Merchandising and Customer Service.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Experience managing in retail, convivence, or fast food stores.

Responsibilities

• Provide work direction, training and assistance to team members.
• Create a high energy, fun work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service; greet customers promptly and courteously.
• Perform cashier responsibilities including accepting payments and issuing receipts.
• Display and organize products for easy customer access.
• Maintain store appearance through dusting, cleaning and restocking merchandise.
• Order merchandise and track inventory as assigned.
• Authorize gas station pump payments.
• Monitor customers to assist loss prevention.
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow safety policies.
