Job summary

Oakwood School in Morgan Hill, CA seeks a Boys Varsity Baseball Head Coach to build and lead a new high school program. You will shape traditions, establish discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork, and drive player development from the ground up.

The role requires travel and evening/weekend work, with a stipend and season-length commitment from February to May. You will mentor student-athletes and coordinate with coaches and school leadership to ensure program success.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of coaching experience at high school, competitive club, or collegiate level.
• Ability to develop player growth and game plans.
• Strong communication with players, parents, staff.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead with passion to build a positive program culture.
• Design practices and organize game plans.
• Develop players and prepare for varsity competition.
• Coordinate with Athletic Director and assistants.
• Manage travel, uniforms, and equipment.
• Communicate weekly updates via the school platform.
