Instruct high school athletes in the development of skills and teamwork while instilling sports ethics, rules and safety. Develop a strong team environment, which includes respect for the school, opponents, officials, and the community.

Qualifications

• Maine State Law requires all school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) for a Department of Education.
• Knowledge of the sport through participation, clinics, and / or prior coaching experience.
• Coaching certificate through the Maine Principals Association (MPA).
• First Aid and CPR

Payscale for coaching is based on a point system: Min. 4 points $1,903.76 to Max. 15 points $7,139.10
