Job summary

Qualifications

• Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Has previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport.

• The head coach serves as a positive role model for student athletes.

Responsibilities

• Has thorough knowledge of athletic policies and ensures staff compliance.
• Implements state and league regulations and interprets them for staff.
• Maintains proper lines of command and attends required meetings.
• Designs conferences and staff meetings to ensure program awareness.
• Trains staff, supports professional growth, and evaluates assistants.
