Job summary

Qualifications

• Organize and supervise a complete high school sports program.
• Proven coaching experience in the assigned sport (major sports).
• Substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of system, state and league regulations; interpret for staff.
• Lead staff, design clinics, and ensure staff awareness of the program.
• Delegate duties, supervise implementation, and analyze staff effectiveness.
• Maintain discipline, handle grievances, and protect student safety.
• Assist athletic director with scheduling, transportation, and tournament planning.
