Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South is seeking an AmeriCorps Workforce Development Coordinator to create meaningful opportunities in career exploration, work-based learning, financial literacy, and college readiness for youth across several clubs.

As a member, you will mentor and support youth, deliver engaging lessons, and help participants overcome barriers to employment and education while receiving a living allowance and an education award upon completion.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South's AmeriCorps Workforce Development Coordinator program prepares young people for success by providing meaningful opportunities in career exploration, work-based learning, financial literacy, and college and career readiness. AmeriCorps members serve as mentors, educators, and workforce development leaders, helping youth build the skills, confidence, and experiences needed to achieve their goals and pursue great futures.Serving youth across Boys & Girls Clubs in Brockton, Dorchester, Fall River, Marlboro, Marshfield, Plymouth and Taunton implementing high-quality after-school programming connecting young people to real-world opportunities. Volunteers deliver engaging lessons and experiences focused on professional skills, resume development, interview preparation, career exploration, workplace expectations, money management, and post-secondary planning.

Member Duties :
