Job summary

Bunnell High School in Stratford, CT seeks an Assistant Boys Swim Coach to guide athletes in technique and teamwork. You will select the squad, plan practices, attend meetings, and help ensure safe, fair competition.

You will manage uniforms and equipment, complete required paperwork, and explain eligibility and training rules. A successful candidate holds a CT Coaching permit and current CPR/First Aid certifications, including Concussion Mod 15.

Duties/Responsibilities:

The Board of Education seeks an Assistant Boys Swim Coach to coach individual participants in the sport skills necessary for achievement. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, selecting the squad for the team; planning and scheduling a regular program of practice; attending league, district and school staff meetings, sports awards programs and banquets; overseeing the safety conditions of practice, game and locker room areas; completing required paperwork; explaining and enforcing eligibility rules, training rules and regulations; and assuming responsibility for uniforms and equipment.
