Job summary

Bunnell High School in Stratford, CT seeks a Head Boys' Lacrosse Coach for the 2026 season. This role leads the lacrosse program, selects the squad, plans practices, and represents the team at meetings and ceremonies.

Salary is per SEA Agreement. On-site position requiring a valid CT Coaching permit, CPR/First Aid certifications, and Concussion Mod 15; duties include safety oversight and equipment management. The coach will coordinate with the Athletic Director and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Coach the lacrosse team and develop skill progression for participants.
• Select the squad for the team and plan schedules and practices.
• Attend league, district, and school meetings and ceremonies; oversee safety in all areas.
• Complete required paperwork and enforce eligibility/training rules.
• Manage uniforms and equipment and coordinate with staff and administration.

Duties/Responsibilities:

The Board of Education seeks a Head Boys' Lacrosse Coach to coach individual participants in the sport skills necessary for achievement. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, selecting the squad for the team; planning and scheduling a regular program of practice; attending league, district and school staff meetings, sports awards programs and banquets; overseeing the safety conditions of practice, game and locker room areas; completing required paperwork; explaining and enforcing eligibility rules, training rules and regulations; and assuming responsibility for uniforms and equipment.
