The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking a Production Assistant 1 to support the PRODUCTION department in Parker, CO. This non-exempt role involves assisting with daily routing, loading and unloading donations, and ensuring safety protocols are followed throughout transportation activities.

Responsibilities include adhering to DOT regulations, maintaining accurate route information, and providing courteous customer service while reporting incidents to the supervisor.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving record.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate electronic equipment used for daily route information.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Follow daily routing directions and stay on route as directed, unless instructed otherwise.
• Complete daily route within the approved work schedule with 100% completion when possible.
• Load and unload trucks safely; assist others with loading/unloading as needed.
• Handle donations with safe procedures and PPE; ensure damage-free return to destination.
• Supervise truck helper in their rehabilitation program and model professional behavior.
• Perform pre/post checks daily and report any issues to the Transportation Supervisor.
