Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Miami is seeking a Box Truck Delivery Driver to serve local customers by delivering food products to restaurants, schools, and hospitals. You will build relationships with customers, unload orders, and ensure on-time delivery.

You’ll travel locally, be home every day, and must be at least 21 with a CDL, clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 350 pounds. DOT physical and background check required.

Qualifications

• CDL required and valid license.
• 1 year of driving experience and 1 year customer service or related field.
• Able to lift up to 350 pounds and operate a two-wheel cart.
• Pass a drug test and background check.
• DOT physical required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to customers and restaurants.
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs throughout shift.
• Build relationships with customers and ensure satisfaction.
• Travel locally and return home every day.
• Follow safety procedures and DOT requirements.

Location: 3301 NW 125th St, Miami FL

Are you interested in a driving position but don't know where to start? Picture yourself as a Box Truck delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. You'll be traveling locally and home every day, and you'll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs throughout your shift. Schedule

• Monday-Friday with 2 days off during the week.
• Start time between 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM until route is finished

Does this look like you?

• At least 21 years of age
• Commercial drivers license
• One year of previous driving experience and one year experience in customer service or related field.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• DOT physical required
