Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Imperial, PA is looking for a Box Truck Driver to deliver food products to restaurants, schools, and hospitals. You will travel locally, be home every day, and may unload cases up to 100 lbs while maintaining safety and customer service.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, start between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM until route finish. Pay is $21 per hour, with bonuses and comprehensive total rewards including day-one benefits, weekly pay, wellness reimbursement, and a 401(k) with company

Qualifications

• CDL required.
• One year of driving experience preferred.
• One year in customer service or related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to customers along local routes.
• Build relationships with customers and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs as needed.
• Read labels and use scanners to manage orders and paperwork.

Box Truck Driver

225 Solar Dr, Imperial, PA

Are you interested in a driving position but don't know where to start? Picture yourself as a van delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. You’ll be traveling locally and home every day, and you’ll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs throughout your shift. Monday-Friday. Start time 3 AM-5 AM until route finish

Pay

$21/hr

Does this look like you?

• At least 21 years of age
• Commercial drivers license
• One year of previous driving experience and one year experience in customer service or related field.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork and follow verbal instructions)
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
