Job summary

University of Pennsylvania's Penn Live Arts seeks a Box Office Supervisor to manage box office operations part-time (17.5–30 hours/week). You will handle ticketing, supervise staff, and coordinate events and rentals with various departments. Evening and weekend availability is required to ensure exceptional customer service.

The role involves collaboration with Marketing, Front of House, and Artistic teams, with a focus on accurate transactions, staff leadership, and event support.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 2–3 years of experience or equivalent.
• BA/BS degree preferred where applicable.
• Experience with performing arts ticketing and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Box Office manager on duty during performances on a rotational basis.
• Process ticketing transactions via Tessitura and telephone.
• Supervise box office staff and assist with hiring, training, and scheduling.
• Communicate event information to staff and support sales teams.
• Support subscription renewals and reconcile petty cash and payments.
